    Linda joined the Christ Church staff in late April, 2018.  She works with Christine Ruland to provide communication and organizational support for the many ministries of Christ Church.

    PARISH ADMINISTRATOR

    Christine has been an integral part of Christ Church Middletown, serving as our Parish Administrator since 2001. Having retired from full-time status on May 1st, 2018, Christine now works from home, assisting Linda as needed.

  • Christine Stockhausen-Butler

    Director of families and youth ministry

    We are pleased to welcome Christine Stockhausen-Butler to the Christ Church staff.  Christine organizes and oversees all Christian Formation classes and activities. 

  • JOHN BALME                      

    DIRECTOR OF MUSIC/ORGANIST     

    Before entering the world of church music, John served as General Director of Boston Lyric Opera and the Lake George Opera Festival. As a pianist, he has accompanied many international singing stars in concert, including Carlo Bergonzi, Christina Deutekom, Nicolai Gedda, Jerome Hines and Deborah Voigt. John has been a guest conductor for opera companies in San Diego, Honolulu, Atlanta, Syracuse, Rochester NY, Fort Worth, among others; and has taught at the University of Texas, Austin, New England Conservatory and the University of Connecticut. He is currently an adjunct professor at Brookdale Community College where he teaches piano and The Creative Process.

    Parish BOOKKEEPER

    I have been a member of Christ Church for two years and have recently become the clerical accountant and bookkeeper.  Through this position, I’m looking forward to getting more involved with the church and meeting lots more of our church family.  Prior to this position, I worked in financial firms in Boston and New York.  My most recent corporate position was with Goldman Sachs as an Institutional Client Relationship Manager.  For the past twelve years, I have lived in Middletown, NJ with my husband and three children. I enjoy being active in my community and volunteering on a number of school committees. 


  • JORDAN SISOLAK

    SEXTON

    Jordan is responsible for the maintenance and surrounding grounds needs of both the main church and the historic church. He performs basic maintenance and repairs as well as assists with organizing the church, rooms and the Undercroft for use as needed.
