Prayer Shawl Ministry
Christ Church Knitters/Crocheters have created and continue to create beautiful prayer shawls and lap blankets that are given out to those in need of comfort, healing and support. These lovingly and prayerfully crafted pieces are incredibly soft and yet machine washable. The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on the first and third Friday of each month at 10:00 a.m.. in the church Library. If you are unable to meet in person, you can work on your project at home and arrangements can be made for pick-up or drop-off of the finalized piece. Beginners are welcome! Even if you have never knitted or crocheted before, if you would like to learn, there are some very easy patterns to get you started. Also, our group is always willing to provide support if you have question or need assistance. Please reach out to Judy Kelso (jkelso680@gmail.com) if you would like to join this ministry or know someone who would enjoy a prayer shawl.

transportation service
Christ Church offers a taxi service ministry (for parishioners who do not drive) for essential trips, such as medical appointments. Please remember to give us advance notice of your appointment, so we have time to match riders with available volunteer drivers. Theresa Tuttle co-ordinates this ministry. She can be reached by texting/calling (848) 459-5055 or via email theresa@casadelatuttle.com. If you are available as a volunteer driver, please reach out also to Theresa.
